Corfu Beaches

Corfu beaches are undeniably the epitome of natural beauty, just like all the beaches of the Ionian islands. Golden sand, shiny pebbles, deep crystal clear waters and natural surrounding are some features all Corfu beaches have in common. Choosing is hard, but let’s see what the best Corfu beaches are!

Canal d’Amour beach, Sidari Corfu

Canal d’Amour is probably the most interesting beach in Corfu. Its name actually means “Channel of love”, due to the many turquoise water canals that have been formed by the elements of nature. The scenery of this beach is unlike anything you’ve seen before: impressive rock formations and mysterious sea caves create a natural miracle worth exploring!

Glyfada beach, Glyfada

Glyfada is one of the most beautiful Corfu beaches, thanks to the olives and pine trees that carpet its landscape, as well as its beach bars. Located 16 km from Corfu town, Glyfada beach is covered with golden sand and has crystal clear blue waters, which are safe for children. What’s more, Glyfada beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, while it has many facilities, including water sports facilities.

Liapades beach, Liapades

Liapades is an amazing beach, boasting a magical natural landscape. It is surrounded by lush vegetation, vineyards, verdant fields and steep cliffs… The setting is idyllic! This beautiful beach is covered with sand and pebbles, while it has clear, cold waters. The best activity to do in Liapades is snorkeling, as this beach has a rich seabed!

Paleokastritsa beach, Paleokastritsa

Paleokastritsa beach is the main beach of Paleokastritsa village, a popular resort located on the northwest coast of Corfu. This beach is dreamy! Just imagine white sand blending in turquoise waters, surrounded by a verdant mountainous landscape. Paleokastritsa beach is organized, while you can find many Corfu hotels, bars and restaurants in the area. Even though Paleokastritsa is a very popular and often crowded resort, it manages to keep its traditional charm.

Kalami bay, Kalami

What’s interesting about Kalami bay is that at the end of it, there is the house where the famous writer Lawrence Durrell once lived, the so-called “White House”. Kalami bay is covered with shiny pebbles and has mesmerizing turquoise water, boasting a virgin natural landscape. It is surrounded by pine trees and cypresses, creating a serene atmosphere, ideal for those who seek tranquility.
